Our Vision for Outdoor Learning
Learning in the fresh air helps children thrive physically, socially, and emotionally. We have a dedicated, Forest School trained member of staff who delivers specialized outdoor learning sessions to every year group in our Green Wood forest area.
From the 2026-27 academic year, we also introduced the Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) scheme across our breaks and lunchtimes. Our vibrant playground features a huge variety of active areas:
- A dedicated climbing wall
- Two trim trails for balancing and agility
- A scooter race track
- Small world play areas
- Dressing-up zones
- Sports pitches and active games
