A lot of our fundraising is done through the Friends of Worthinghead – a group of parents, carers, and staff who work together to support our school through fun fundraising events.

The money raised helps provide a range of things such as special events and memorable experiences for all our children.

 

Fundraising Events

Throughout the year, Friends of Worthinghead help organise exciting events for our school community, including:

  • Easter Fayre
  • Summer Fayre
  • School Discos
  • Christmas Secret Shop

 

Join Us!

We meet several times a year to share ideas and plan our upcoming events. Every parent and carer is very welcome to join! Whether you can help out regularly or just offer an hour of your time at a fayre, every bit of help makes a big difference to our school.

 

Volunteering in School & Safeguarding

We love welcoming parent volunteers into school! To help keep all our children safe:

  • Volunteer Policy: Parents and carers can read our full Volunteer Policy in the Policy and Report Documents section of our website.
  • Safeguarding Checks: For the safety and protection of our pupils, safeguarding checks (a DBS check) and a short training session must be completed before any parent can volunteer in school.
