The Role of Our Governors
Our governing body is a group of dedicated volunteers – including parents, staff, and community members – who work behind the scenes to help Worthinghead Primary School be the very best it can be.
Governors are not responsible for the day-to-day operational running of the school, but they play a vital role in strategic leadership the school. Their main responsibilities include:
- Guiding Our Vision: Making sure our school vision, values, and ethos drive everything we do.
- Supporting and Challenging Leaders: Working alongside the Headteacher to keep high standards for learning, safety, and personal growth.
- Managing School Money: Ensuring our budget and funding (such as Pupil Premium and Sports Premium) are spent wisely to help every child thrive.
